Martha Ann Healy, 87, of rural Omaha, died Saturday evening, August 23, 2008 at her home while watering her flowers. She was born September 16, 1920 in Gossett, Illinois, the daughter of Logan and Minnie (Graves) Lewis. She married on February 11, 1942 to James Herbert Healy and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1984. Martha was a hairdresser for sixty-five years. She was a member of Hazel Ridge Cumberland Church and attended Village Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her son, David and Paula Healy of Omaha; and her daughter, MaeReta and John Clark of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Kim Hillyard, Rebecca Abell, Lance Damm, Michelle Prather; eight great grandchildren, Lacy Jo McNear, Logan McNear, Devon Damm, Oliver Abell, Rowdy Damm, Bridgett Payne, Colby Prather, and Nolan Prather. She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Lucille Haney and Loretta Graves; one brother, James Lloyd Lewis; two grandsons, Branton James Healy and David Adam Healy. Visitation for Martha will be held on Monday, August 25th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 26th at 1 p.m. with Reverend Rudy Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at Shaw Cemetery near Omaha.
