Myron Reece Wilson

Dr. Myron Reece Wilson, 66, of Fort Valley, Georgia formerly of rural Omaha, Illinois, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Houston Medical Center in Fort Valley, Georgia.  Myron the son of Robert I. and Doris E. (Fulton) Wilson was born in Eldorado on December 3rd of 1954.  He was married to Muriel May Cort who sadly passed away on July 8th of 2008.  Myron was a retired Ophtalmologist Eye Surgeon.  He is survived by his father, Robert I. Wilson of Harrisburg; two brothers, Doyle and Susie Wilson of Mt. Zion, Dr. Loren and Sandy Wilson of Eldorado; two stepsons, Robert and Scott Lillard of Ocala, Florida; one stepdaughter, Kelly Mitchell of Surprise, Arizona; several nieces and nephews.  Myron was preceded in death by his mother, Doris and his wife, Muriel.  Visitation for Myron will be held on Friday, June 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  Graveside service for the following day on Saturday, June 12th at 11 a.m. at Old Cottonwood Cemetery near Omaha with the Reverend Russell Helton officiating.  Those attending should go directly to the cemetery.
