Nancy Evelyn Henson

Nancy Evelyn Henson, 64, 761 Main St, Old Shawneetown, Ill., passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 10:35 p.m. She was born December 1, 1944 in Springfield to Merle Mead and Suzanna (Bryant) Henson. Nancy is survived by companion, Clark Bentley of Old Shawneetown; two daughters, Andre' Marie Wade of Old Shawneetown, Laura Bentley Henson of Shawneetown; four sisters, Margaret Yost of Theyere, Mary Ann Hayes of Hillsboro, Betty Dufer of Springfield, Patty Hanwerk of Yucaipa, Cal., and one brother, Hobie Henson of St. Simon Island, Ga.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, several sisters and brothers. Family and friends will gather in her memory at Old Shawneetown Park on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
