Naomi Joyce Logsdon

Naomi Joyce Logsdon, 78, of Shawneetown, Ill. passed away in Evansville, Ind. Thursday, September 30, 2010, 4: 05 p.m. She was born on September 25, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, Ind. to John Lee and Lillie Mae (Holland) Clark. Joyce married Joseph A. Logsdon on January 16, 1976. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shawneetown. Joyce is survived her husband Joe; two sons, Ricky D. and Vicki Wiggins of Mt. Vernon, Ind. , Gerald A. and Cheryl Wiggins of Evansville, Ind.; two step daughters, Laura Hayes of Smyrna, Tenn. and Liza Logsdon of Pima, Az.; six grandchildren, Michelle and Michael D. Capps, Michael and Ashley Wiggins, Melissa and Shannon Cooper, Joseph Hayes, Andrew Hayes and William Hayes; seven great grandchildren, Bryce Andrew Capps, Tristan Albert Capps, Hailey Nicole Capps, Makenzie Nicole Wiggins, Makayla Renee Wiggins, Jayden Michael Wiggins and Dylan Cooper; one brother, John Clark of Odessa, Tex. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Virgil Clark; two sisters, Evelyn Mears and Rose Clark; sister in law, Verda Clark; a great grandson, Cory Joseph Wiggins. Visitation for Joyce will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Father Steven Beatty officiating. Burial will be Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
