Patricia "Pat" Lea (Hines) Frohock

Patricia “Pat” Lea Frohock, 87 of Equality, passed away at 2:30 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her residence in Equality.

Pat was born on June 12, 1936 in Harrisburg, to the late Edward and Judy (Holt) Hines. On March 8, 1957 she married Aubrey Eugene Frohock and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2002. Pat worked in the Fabric Department at Walmart for twelve years and she was a member of the Equality First United Methodist Church.

Pat is survived by two daughters, Patty Gene Baldwin of Eldorado, and Dianne South of Eldorado; three grandchildren, Geri Chamberlain and husband Seth of Herrin; James South of West Frankfort; and Billy Joe Frohock of Eldorado; six great grandchildren, Aubrey South of Marion; Dominick Holding of Jacksonville, North Carolina; Deidre Holding of Paintsville, Kentucky; Conner Chamberlain of Herrin; Billy Robert of Eldorado; and Rylee Trusty of Eldorado; great-great granddaughter, Maylee Mae Holding; and sister, Rita Jane “Mickey” Karns of Harrisburg.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Gene, Pat was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Frohock, grandson, Jacob Baldwin, and a sister, Norma Hocevar.

Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Lea Frohock will be held at 11 AM, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Rev. Ernie Fowler will officiate and burial will follow in Loyd Cemetery at Equality.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the service hour.
