Patsy J. Artman

Patsy J. Artman, 76, of Omaha, passed away, Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 4:47 p.m. at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Omaha to the late Harry and Margaret (Crayne) Miner. Patsy was married to William "Bill" Artman on July 26, 1956 and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1977. She was a member of the Omaha General Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Cindy McKenzie and her husband Jeff of Butler and a son, Harry "Scott" Artman and his wife Regina of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Ian, Whitney and Patrick McKenzie of Butler, and Jacqlyn and Hunter Artman of Eldorado; one brother, Claude and Marthan Miner of Omaha; three sisters, Evelyn and Cecil Gross of Carmi, Maude and Wayne Bunting of Albion, and Barbara and Glen Lack of Carmi; one sister-in-law, Twila Miner of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Carl Miner of Omaha and Charles Miner of Carmi. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, December 15th at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 16th at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Bill Dudley and Jason Miner officiating. Burial will be at the Palestine II Cemetery in Omaha.
