Paul Steven Mcdermott

Paul Steven McDermott, 63, of Shawneetown, Illinois, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 17, 2020. 8:46 p.m. at his home.  He was born in East St. Louis on November 2, 1956, one of three sons born to the late Joseph Burtis McDermott and Wilma Ruth (Head) Brown.  Paul was a member of The Roads Church in Norris City.  He is survived by his son, Steven and Tristan McDermott of Shawneetown, his daughter, Alisha McDermott of Shawneetown, his son, Jeff and Jennifer McDermott of Omaha; ten grandchildren.  Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roger Dale and Robert Joseph McDermott.  Cremation service was selected and a private graveside service at Westwood Cemetery will be at a later date.  Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to The Roads Church.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of services.
