Paul Edward Tuthill

Paul “TUT” Edward Tuthill 86, of Saddlebrook in Grayslake, IL passed away peacefully September 13, 2021 at the Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL. He was born in Vergennes, IL to Carl and Lela Mae (Porter) Tuthill. Paul enlisted into the United States Army in 1957 and was stationed in Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas. Paul married Wilma Irene Bradley December 26, 1957 while on leave in the Army. He worked 24 years at International Harvester, 7 years at Peter Baker and Sons, and 3 years at Walmart. Paul enjoyed square dancing, roller skating, auto mechanics, gardening, hunting and fishing. He loved playing cards, poker, pinochle, euchre and several board games. Paul always enjoyed a good joke, and he was a jokester himself! He would plant onion set seeds in every plant on the second floor wing where his wife worked, rigged a laundry basket full of golf balls at the top of the stairs at his nephews house to be discovered when the door would be opened, he would offer you a peanut, ask how good it was and then reply that it was better before he sucked off all the chocolate!!!

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Wilma, son; Jeff (Beth) and Clint (Keri) and the apple of his eye granddaughter Ariana. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Gary, sisters; Dorothy and Carlene.

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday September 19, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with a 3:00 Service at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Drive, units 208 & 209 Volo, Il 60073. Rev Cheri Tuccy officiating.
