Pearl Irene Sisk

Pearl Irene Sisk, 86, of Junction, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 6:14 p.m. at her residence. Pearl was born in Harrisburg on July 11, 1921 to Grover and Nellie Abney. She married Ted Sisk on January 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 1990. Pearl was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Equality and a fifty year member of the order of the Eastern Star, Ridgway Chapter #714. She was an alumna of Harrisburg High School class of 1940. She was a homemaker. Pearl was survived by nieces, Ida Nell and Bob Wargel of Marion, Mary Lee and Bill Saunders of Carmi; sister-in-laws, Jackie Somers of Eldorado, Freda and Jim Munds of Broughton. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; one brother, G.L. Abney; sisters, Helen L. Mitsdarffer, Janice Herron, Mary Jane Cummins and niece Carolyn Hoffmann. Visitation for Pearl will be Tuesday, September 25th , from 10 a.m. to until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Reverend Ron Johnson will officiate the service with burial to follow at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
