Peggy Sue (Feazel) Pickering

Peggy Sue Pickering, 82, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away after a extended illness on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her home. She owned and operated Paper & Pictures Plus in Harrisburg. Peggy was born in Harrisburg on August 28, 1941, the daughter of the late Louie and Opal (Price) Feazel. She married Billie Ray Pickering on March 11, 1980 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2014. She was of the Baptist Faith. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Pamela J. Quinn and Bob Trowbridge of Harrisburg; her son, Jim and Shawndie Stokich of Albion; her sister, Linda Butler of Harrisburg; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren with another expected soon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Lillian Hurd and her brother, John Louie Feazel. There will be a graveside service for Peggy on Saturday, October 21st at 11 a.m. at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with her friend, Raymond Gunning officiating the service.
