Rev. Harry W. Spivey, 83, resident of Elizabethtown passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Harry was born November 16, 1938 in Hardin County to the late Eddie and Ethel Marie (Hazel) Spivey. On January 21, 1972 he married the former Linda (Woods) Jenkins who survives. He worked as a farmer, truck driver and pastored several churches. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Cave-in-rock, IL. Harry is survived by his wife: Linda Spivey of Elizabethtown, a daughter: Paula (Jason) Partain of Cave-in-rock, two sons: Curtis (Rhonda) Jenkins of Cave-in-rock, Mark (Susan) Jenkins of Albuquerque, NM, two sisters: Wanda Dixon of Cave-in-rock, Barbara Kink of Somerset, KY, grandchildren: Matthew (Melissa) Jenkins, Jessica Jenkins, Jaci (Joel) Limestall, Jerri Jenkins, Karissa Jenkins, Abby Kay Partain, three great grandchildren: Logan, Hailey and Hannah Jenkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Bradley Keith Jenkins, 8 brothers and 7 sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5-8pm at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Mt. Zion Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Wednesday morning at the church prior to the service time at 1:00pm. Rev. Stan Pennell and Rev. Tom Easley will officiate. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com
