Rev. Mickey Deal

Rev. Mickey Deal, 69, of Omaha, Illinois, passed away, Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 7:14 a.m. at his residence. Mickey was born on March 25, 1937 in Shawneetown, Illinois, to Burnis Edward Deal and Mae Ellis Deal Mosley. He married Wanda Bruce on September 14, 1956. Rev. Deal was ordained September 1974 into the general baptist denomination and worked as a security guard at BMX at Mt. Vernon, Indiana. He was a member Harrisburg First General Baptist Church. He is survived by wife, Wanda Deal of Omaha; Three daughters, Sherry and Paul Davis of Omaha, Becky Moore of Bristol, TN, Angela and Wes Briddick of Dix, IL; one son, Adam and Angie Deal of Carmi, IL; six grandchildern, Laurel and Susan Davis, Douglas and Mark Parker, and Ben and Tyler Briddick; one great grandchild Madison Cunningham; two sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation is Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. with funeral services on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel- Omaha. Reverend Steven Glenn officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery, P.O. Box 54 Omaha, IL 62871.
