Richard Lee Pennington

Richard Lee “Richie” Pennington, 43, of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Gallatin Manor in Ridgway.  He was born on September 30, 1975 in Eldorado, the son of the late Frank Pennington and Cynthia Marcella Bowles Logsdon.  Richie married the former Bessie Lynch on June 29, 2013.  He worked for the Brown Fertilizer for nearly twenty years and attended the New Life Full Gospel Church in Harrisburg.  Richie is survived by his wife, Bessie Pennington of Ridgway; one son, Gavyn Pennington of Ridgway; his sister, Stacie and Charlie Gordon of Shawneetown; his brother, Frank and Mandy Pennington of Ridgway; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  Visitation for Richie will be held on Saturday, July 27th from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  Rev. Blake Clayton will be officiating with burial at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown.
