Ritha M. (Teegarden) Yates

Ritha M. Yates, 83, of Carterville, Illinois, passed away at her home on Friday, October 21, 2022.  She was born on August 8, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of late Ed and Muriel (Martin) Teegarden.  She owned and operated her own beauty shop until she retired.  Ritha is survived by her husband, William Roger Yates and her son, Derek Matthews.  As per her wishes, Ritha donated her body to the S.I.U. School of Medicine.  There will be a memorial service for Ritha and interment will be at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality in charge of arrangements.
