Robert Dale “Bob” McClusky, 87, of Omaha, Illinois, passed away at his home on Monday, April 29, 2024. Bob was born in Harrisburg on August 25, 1936, one of eight children born to the late Roy and Gladys (Slayton) McClusky. On June 23, 1959 he married the former Patricia Winters. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran. Through his working years he employed at General Motors, Wilson Cabinets, and later as driver for the Omaha Furniture Store. Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Patricia McClusky of Omaha; one daughter, Robbi and Joe Chappell of Shawneetown; one son, Bobby and Sonya McClusky of Omaha; one daughter-in-law, Dana McClusky of Omaha; two sisters, Barb Sisky of Harrisburg, Mary Turner of Elgin; two brothers, Gary McClusky, John and Juanita McClusky, both of Pontiac, Michigan; six grandchildren, Lindsey and Blake Wood of Eldorado, Tyler Dale and Amberly McClusky of Omaha, Shawn and Amy Sauls of Evansville, Indiana, Joshua and Ashley Chappell of Shawneetown, Jessica and Jared Simmons of Enfield, Jordon and Tyla McClusky of Crossville; fifteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Roy McClusky; two sisters, Betty Riley and Brenda Hefner; one brother, Charles McClusky. A memorial tribute for Bob is pending at this time. Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha is in charge of the services.
