Roger Wayne Troutt

Roger Wayne Troutt, 59, of rural Junction, Illinois, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 4, 2024.  He was born on November 5, 1964 in Whitesburg, Kentucky the son of Clifton and Eloise (Boggs) Troutt.  He worked as a diesel mechanic at the Southern Truss Company in Harrisburg.  On November 7, 1983 he married the love of his life, Margaret Ann “Margo” Howard.  Sadly, Margo preceded Roger on April 3, 2021.  He was an avid outdoors man and loved to spend as much time as possible enjoying nature.   Roger is survived by his mother, Eloise and Kenneth Millspaugh of Equality; his two sons, Matthew and Lyla Troutt, Shannon and Ran Troutt, both of Overland Park, Kansas; his daughter in heart, Audriana Rector of Harrisburg; two sisters, Karen and Tony Lucas of Equality, Donna and Michael Durbin of Benton, Illinois; one brother, Jimmy and Amanda Millspaugh of Benton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Quinn, Zoey, and Oliver.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton; his wife, Margo; their precious daughter, Tiffianie Diane Troutt; and his sister, Catherine Troutt Dodds.  Visitation will be on Monday, April 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  Funeral service will be the following day, Tuesday, April 9th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Duke Williams officiating the service.  Burial will be at the Wildcat Hill Family Cemetery near Equality.  Donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the family.
