Rosa Mae (Webb) Rheaume of Marion, IL passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Rosa was born in rural Ozark, IL on January 24, 1928 the third child of the late Herman and Edna (Trigg) Webb. She moved to Michigan to live with her sister, Mary at 17 and graduated from high school there. She worked as a phone operator and loved going to baseball games. She met and married the love of her life, Morgan Rheaume on October 30, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan. Her husband preceded her in death on April 26, 1999. Rosa was a homemaker most of her life, loving to garden, both vegetable and flowers, collecting her treasured Desert Rose china, an avid reader, good cook, and she loved to walk and stay fit, but her true love was raising her eleven children. Nothing made her happier than to have a baby in her arms. She loved us all unconditionally and each of the eleven children always thought that they were the favorite. She was a very selfless woman, always putting others’ needs before herself. She loved to travel, especially with her grown children and her sisters. When her husband started his own business in 1972, The Broach House, she went back to work as the secretary and accountant. She retired from this position in 1999, but continued her favorite pastime of babysitting for family and friends. Rosa was an active member of St. Joseph Church in Marion.
