Sharon Sue (Rexing) Bonneville

Sharon Sue Bonneville, 69, of Equality, Illinois, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the SIH Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.  Born on December 2, 1954 in Eldorado, she was one of seven children born to Robert “Bob” and Joann (Dietz) Rexing.  Sharon worked several years in dietary at Harrisburg Medical Center and housekeeping at Saline Care.  She was a faithful member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church.  She is survived by her loving family, her mother, Joann Rexing of Equality; her daughter, Misty Brothers of Equality; two sons, Chris and Chasity Bonneville of Wayne City, Phillip and Rebecca Bonneville of Ava; three sisters, Debbie and Don Prince, Joan Johnson, Teri and Alvin Casteel, all of Equality; three brothers, Wayne and Joan Rexing of Equality, Larry and Wanda Rexing of Equality, Tom and Linda Rexing of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Gage, Haley and Dalton, Riley, Austin, Ethan, and Savannah; one great grandchild, Ozzie; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Rexing.  There will be no services.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality will be charge of services.
