Sharon Diane (Jones) Heath

Sharon Diane Heath, 73, of Ridgway, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  She was born on July 29, 1946 in Eldorado, the daughter of the late Earl Ivan and Nevella Jane (Boster) Jones.  Sharon married the love of her life, Rodney Grant Heath on October 3, 1964.  Sadly, Rodney preceded her in death on January 27, 2010.  For many years Sharon was in public service with the school board and the popcorn board.  As an entrepreneur she ran her own business, Country Side Pool.  She also enjoyed and loved camping and riding horses.  Sharon is survived by her two sons, Shane and Melissa Heath of Ridgway, Chris and Andrea Heath of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; one brother, Deon and Annette Jones of Ridgway; six grandchildren, Jeff and Megan Heath , Jonathon and Sidney Heath, Parker Heath, Christopher Heath, Jake Heath and Jaci Heath; two great grandchildren, Braxton and James.  Visitation for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  Funeral service will at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 4th at 1 p.m. with Father Steven Beatty will officiate with burial at Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven.  Donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to the American Legion Post#596 Ladies Auxiliary in Ridgway.
