Sharon Sue Patton

Sharon Sue Patton, 67, of Junction, Ill. passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010, 7:50 p.m. at the St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Ind. She was born on January 27, 1943 in Shawneetown to Milas and Isabelle (Martin) Hughes. Sharon married Charles Loyd Patton in 1967. She was a beautician and a homemaker. Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles Patton of Junction; one daughter, Alesia Patton-McNeil and husband, Pete McNeil of Ridgway; one grand daughter, Abby McNeil; one sister, Hazel Vanek of Whiting, Ind.; two brothers, Bob and Thetna Hughes of Cave-In-Rock, Kenneth and Martha Hughes of Paducah, Ky.; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Willard, Chester, and David Hughes; two sisters, Edith Hughes and Elsie Roe. Visitation for Sharon will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert D. Patton officiating. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
