Tara Renee Siegfried

Tara Renee Siegfried, 39, of Harrisburg, Ill., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at her home.  She was born November 9, 1979 in Kansas City, Mo. to Douglas and Tammy (Butner) Siegfried.  She worked as a pharmacy technician most of her adult life.  Tara had a love for studying history and she had a great passion for hunting Indian artifacts.  She had a great love for family especially her son Craig and daughter Adalynn.  Tara is survived by her son, Craig Brittine of Kansas City, Mo.; her daughter, Adalynn Sheldon of Harrisburg; her mother and stepfather, Tammy and Brent Moore of Equality; her father, Douglas Siegfried last known of Warrensburg, Mo.; three sisters, Chanda (Jeff) Binstock of Ankeny, Iowa; Danielle (Art) Lutz of Kansas City, Mo.; Paige Williams of Equality; two nephews, Joshua and Beckham; her niece, Brylee; her maternal grandparents, James and Linda Butner of Kearney, Mo.; her uncle, James Butner Jr. of Lexington, Mo.; her aunt, Rhonda Ross and cousins, Chelsea, Kayla, and Kierra of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; her uncle, Wes and Debbie Siegfried and cousins, Caleb and Chad Siegfried of Centerview, Mo.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Shirley Siegfried and her uncle, Dan Ross.  Tara also leaves behind a very large extended family.  She was very loved and will forever be deeply missed.  A celebration of lifewill be held on June 15th  in Kansas City, Mo.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through gofundme.com in memory of Tara Siegfried to help with her funeral expenses and a fund for Adalynn.
