Theresa Ann (Berkel) Zirkelbach

Theresa Ann Zirkelbach, born August 11th, 1937, left this earth on September 11th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.  She was a women whose life was a testament to love, nurturing, and devotion.  At 87, she leaves behind a legacy that is forever etched in the hearts of those she cherished most- her family.  With a green thumb and a passion for gardening, she cultivated not just beautiful flowers, fruits, and vegetables, but also a sense of wonder and warmth in everyone she met.  Her kitchen was always filled with the aromas of home-cooked meals, where countless memories were made and stories shared.  As a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, she helped raise and shaped us all, giving generously of her love and wisdom.  She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to blossom in the hearts of all who knew her.  Theresa married Marion Zirkelbach on June 20th, 1956.  From their union they raised four children, Barb Zirkelbach, Beth Wilson (Jack), Dale Zirkelbach, and Mike Zirkelbach (Robin).  From there the family grew to include nine grandchildren, Timothy Zirkelbach (Amber), Melissa Chapman (Vince), Joey Zirkelbach, Alecia Sisk (Chris), Kimberly Zimmerman (Zach), Joshua Wilson, Megan Zirkelbach, Mike Zirkelbach Jr. (Katie), Brent Zirkelbach; twenty-five great grandchildren, Brenna Zirkelbach (Joshua Pilkington), Baily Zirkelbach, Briley Zirkelbach, Hayden Zirkelbach, Morgan Chapman, Harper Zirkelbach, Adrian Zirkelbach, Emily Smith, Jacey Smith, Chase Smith, Tyler Chapman, Dustin Chapman, Brayden Zirkelbach, Ethan Zirkelbach, Graclynn Zirkelbach, Blaze Zirkelbach, Timber Zirkelbach, Klarissa Sisk, Ryver Sisk, Zayden Zimmerman, Kamryn Zimmerman, Karma Wilson, Justin Wilson, HattieLynne Wilson, Kenny Zirkelbach; seven great-great grandchildren, Kolby Pilkington, Parker Chapman, Tyvic Chapman, Waylon Chapman, Emmerson Chapman, Bowen Chapman, Kasen Chapman.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Zirkelbach, who passed on April 3, 1994; her parents, Leonard and Josephine “Josie” (Zimmer) Berkel; two sisters, Margaret Barnes and Louise Vaughn; four brothers, Louis Berkel, Frances Berkel, Lawrence Berkel and Bill Berkel.  There will be a private family graveside service at the St. Joseph Cemetery near Equality.  Father Vincent Musaka will officiate the service.
