Timothy Arnold Allen

Timothy Arnold “T.A.” Allen, 51, of Shawneetown, Illinois passed away at his home on Thursday, January 4, 2024.  He was born in Eldorado on July 9, 1972, the son of Roland and Deborah (Bradley) Allen.  Tim was a warehouse manager at the Warehouse Service, Inc. in Mt. Vernon, Indiana and had worked there for twenty-eight years.  He was an avid hunter and liked spending time with his kids, family, and friends.  Tim was known for his wonderful sense of humor.  He leaves behind his loving family, his son, Hunter Allen and Hannah DeNeal of Shawneetown; his daughter, Jillian Allen of Shawneetown; his mother, Deborah Allen of Shawneetown; his brother and sister, Brad and Deitra Allen both of Shawneetown; his niece, Tarryn Allen also of Shawneetown.  Tim was preceded in death by his father, Roland Allen; his grandparents, Frank and Maxine Allen, Mary and Gerald Bradley.  Visitation for Tim will be held on Tuesday, January 16th from 9 a.m. until memorial service time at 11 a.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  Matt Martin will be officiating the service.
