Violet L (Fink) Day

Violet L. Day, 88, of Equality, Ill., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.  She was born on January 10, 1930 in Equality the daughter of the late Donald and Katherine (Harrelson) Fink.  Violet married Charles H. Day in November of 1958.  Charles preceded her in death on June 26, 1994.  Survived by her loving family; two sons, Phillip Day of Equality and Rick Fink of Greenville, Ind.; one sister, Anna Ruth Dillard of Greenville, Ind.; four grandchildren, Wendy, Ritchie, DeAnna, and Tiffany; two great grandchildren, Sarai and Aiden.  Violet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one granddaughter, Marieca Frailey; one sister, Leda Larry and one brother, Bill Fink.  There will be visitation for Violet on Sunday, May 27th from 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.  Pastor Duke Williams will be officiating.
