Wayne Adams, 71, of Equality, Ill., passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013, 5:36 p.m., at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind. A longtime resident of Equality he recycled metal for many years and served as a volunteer on the Equality Fire Department for over twenty years. Albert Dewayne Adams was born in Eldorado on December 8, 1941, the son of Charles and Bertha Marie (Koker) Adams. Wayne is survived by daughter, June Hall of Equality; son, Wayne Adams, also of Equality; daughter, Karen and Billy Van of Shawneetown; daughter, Mary Adams of Eldorado; daughter, Robin Thompson, of Eau Claire, Wis.; one sister, Helen and Elmer McCuan of Equality; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Adams. There will be visitation for Wayne on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6 p.m. until memorial service time at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.
