Wilda Imogene (Pyles) Vinyard

Wilda Imogene Vinyard, 87, of Elizabethtown, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.  She was born in Karbers Ridge on August 3, 1935, the daughter of the late Maxie and Callie (Turner) Pyles.  Wilda married Barton E. Riley on May 1, 1955 who passed on June 22, 1993.  She also married Carl Vinyard who also preceded Wilda in death on August 7, 2009.  Wilda is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jo and Randy Patterson of Cave-In-Rock; one grandchild, Dean and Kelly Patterson; one great grandchild, Bailey Patterson; her sister-in-law, Carlene Embree of Rosiclare; bonus daughter, Kathy Craig of Stonefort.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one sister, Wilma Pyles; three brothers, Ralph, Owen, and Randell Pyles; one grandson, Austin Patterson.   There will be a graveside service for Wilda on Saturday, August 5th at 11 a.m.  at the Peters Creek Cemetery near Elizabethtown.  The Pastor Dennis Riley will officiate the service.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality will be charge of the service.
