William John Heath

November 13, 1955 — February 22, 2006

William John Heath, 50, of Ridgway, Ill., passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, 7:10 p.m.  He was born on November 13, 1955 in Eldorado, the son of the late William Earl Heath and Eulen Rash, who survives.  John worked as a logger for the Bond Lumber Co. and a cable installer for Channel Comm. and a molder at the Trellborg Automotive.  He was a hard worker and a good son, husband, and father and a history buff.  John loved life and will be missed.  He had a love for the river and his favorite pass time was grilling and cooking for family and friends.  He also cared for his dogs, Ali and Ted E. Bear.  John met Kathy Myers in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on December 28, 1990 and they married on November 21, 1999.  He is survived by wife, Kathy Heath of Ridgway; two daughters, Christina Heath of Ridgway, Katie R. Heath of Eldorado; one son, Travis and Krystal Heath of Harrisburg; his mother, Eulene Heath of Carmi; one sister, Sandy and Gene Bond of Ridgway; one brother, David and Regina Heath of Ridgway; a sister-in-law, Debbie and Don Cote of Cambridge, Minn.; four grandchildren, Clayton Dennis and Gage Heath, Payton and Jersey Heath and another grandchild on the way; four nieces, Ronny Lynn Watkins, Yvonne and Marie Cote, and Sybria Durham; two nephews, Jed Heath and Ande Watkins.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26th from 3 to 7 p.m. with prayer service at 4 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  Graveside service will be on Monday, February 27th at 11 a.m. at the Crawford Campground Cemetery with Father Mark Stec officiating.
