Wilma L. Cobbel

Wilma L. Cobbel, 76, of 109 N. Sherman St. Ridgway, Ill., passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009, 9:35 p.m, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale. She was born June 23, 1932 in Decatur, Ill. To Fred Enoch and Anna Gertrude (Borchard) Stanley. She enjoyed her friends at the Golden Circle in Ridgway. Wilma is survived by her children, Darlene and Larry, both of Decatur; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Thrasher and Kathleen Chamberlain, both of Ridgway, Gladys Osborne of Salem; step son, Jack Endicott of Shawneetown; three sisters, Gertrude Martin of Seal Beach, Cal., Mary Francis Turner of North Carolina, Barbara Jean White of Indiana; a brother, Larry Stanley of Decatur; seven step grandchildren; fourteen step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Fred Ivan Stanley. Visitation for Wilma will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from noon until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with Rev. Donald L.
